O’Brien’s Life Facts Born October 1st, 1946 Graduated from Macalester College in 1968 Drafted into Vietnam War and served 1969-1970 Enrolled in Harvard but left to pursue newspaper columnist position. However his fiction work became his focal point. 4. Tim O’Brien Presentation The reason I love this clip is because it lets us hear the author’s tone. We have been learning about tone in this class and I am now just realizing the importance of it. Just by watching you can tell the passion for which the author has for his stories.
7. In Closing… I was inspired to make this short presentation as my response to this week’s blog post because I was inspired by this author. This post is just so my classmates can learn more about O’Brien and his early life before and after Vietnam. I hope you enjoyed the included photos and video clips.
